Obligation of the Landlord

To provide and maintain a clean, safe, and well-planned environment for the enjoyment and benefit of our residents and their guests.

Association

Obligation to Our Organization

  • To promote the spirit of this code and the objectives of our organization through the creation of chapters throughout West Virginia.
  • To establish and maintain the highest level of reciprocal respect and goodwill with all segments of the association.
Community

Obligations to the Public

  • To conduct our individual businesses according to the highest professional standards.
  • To treat ourselves and everyone we serve with respect and dignity.
  • To be leaders and innovators in our fields, striving through everything we do to improve housing and provide it at a reasonable cost.
  • To commit ourselves, individually and as a group, to pursue excellence and work every day to strengthen our community.
  • To develop, through continual study, the highest degree of knowledge about being a landlord.
This Code of Ethics expresses the association's principles of conduct. Members remain responsible for following applicable federal, state, and local law.
